Studio Tanaka LLC (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) establishes the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) regarding the handling of users’ personal information in the services provided by the Company (hereinafter referred to as “the Services”).
“Personal Information” refers to “personal information” as defined under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan (hereinafter referred to as “APPI”), meaning information about a living individual that can identify a specific person through name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact details, and other descriptions. It also includes information that can identify a specific individual by itself, such as appearance, fingerprints, voiceprints, and insurer numbers on health insurance cards (personal identification information).
The Company may request personal information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, and driver’s license number when a user registers for the Services. The Company may also collect transaction records and payment information, including personal information, that are exchanged between users and business partners, from our partners (including information providers, advertisers, ad distribution destinations, etc.; hereinafter referred to as “Partners”).

The Company collects and uses personal information for the following purposes:
To provide and operate the Services
To respond to inquiries (including identity verification)

The Company may change the purpose of use of personal information only if it is reasonably recognized that the new purpose is related to the original purpose.

The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without prior user consent, except in the following cases or where permitted by APPI or other laws:
When necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property and obtaining consent is difficult
When particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound growth of children, and obtaining consent is difficult
When cooperating with national or local government institutions in performing legally prescribed duties, and obtaining consent may hinder such duties

That provision to third parties will be stopped upon the individual’s request

Notwithstanding the above, the following cases shall not be considered provision to third parties:
When entrusting the handling of personal information within the necessary scope to achieve the purpose of use
When personal information is provided as a result of business succession due to a merger or other reason
When jointly using personal information with a specific party, provided that the items of personal information to be used jointly, the scope of joint users, the purpose of use, and the name or title of the person responsible for managing such information are notified to the individual in advance or made easily accessible
When requested by the individual, the Company shall promptly disclose personal information. However, disclosure may not be made in whole or in part if it falls under any of the following, and the Company shall notify the individual without delay if disclosure is refused. A handling fee of 1,000 yen per request will be charged.
If there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party
If it is likely to significantly hinder the proper conduct of the Company’s business
If it violates other laws and regulations
Notwithstanding the above, information other than personal information (such as history and characteristic information) will, in principle, not be disclosed.
If a user’s personal information held by the Company is incorrect, the user may request correction, addition, or deletion (“Correction, etc.”) of the information according to procedures specified by the Company.
If deemed necessary, the Company shall promptly make such corrections.
If corrections are made, or if a decision is made not to make corrections, the Company shall promptly notify the user.
If requested by the individual on the grounds that personal information is being handled beyond the scope of the stated purpose of use, or was acquired by fraudulent means, the Company shall promptly investigate.
Based on the results, if deemed necessary, the Company shall promptly suspend use or delete such information.
If suspension of use, etc. is carried out, or if a decision is made not to do so, the Company shall promptly notify the user.
Notwithstanding the above, if suspension of use entails excessive cost or is otherwise difficult, and alternative measures necessary to protect user rights and interests can be taken, the Company shall take such alternatives.
The Company uses Google Analytics provided by Google LLC on the Services to analyze and investigate usage. For details on how Google Analytics collects and processes data, please refer to Google’s website.

The contents of this Policy may be changed without prior notice to users, unless otherwise specified by law or in this Policy.
Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Privacy Policy shall take effect when posted on this website.
